National Anthem history A national anthem is a generally patriotic musical composition that evokes and eulogizes the history, traditions and struggles of its people, recognized either by a nation's government as the official national song, or by convention through use by the people. The majority of national anthems are either marches or hymns in style. each national anthem is written in the national language of the country who belongs.

The national anthem of Italy was written in the autumn of 1847 by a student and patriot Goffredo Mameli him, with music by Michele Novara.
