Encouragement for the Family of God What was shared was hard What he was going to share required their attention & was for family. He reminded them of the joys and responsibility of being in the family.

Encouragement for the Family of God Children – You are in the Family 2 words used Teknia – a child who is dearly loved; one endeared Paidia – a child still under authority for discipline & training

Encouragement for the Family of God All believers fall under this first phase. We are all both dearly loved by the Father and under his authority. There is both security and significance here.

Encouragement for the Family of God Understanding & grasping this position is critical! 1. It will shape our view of God and the effectiveness of our growth. 2. We learn to live in God’s forgiveness. 3. He begins our discipline and training program.
