3 H&S Update 2005 BLS injury rates released in December 2004 –Utilize NAICS codes for 1 st time for “Bare printed circuit board manufacturing” for “Printed circuit assembly (electronic assembly) mfg –TRCIR up from 3.1 to 4.1 –LWDACR up from 0.8 to 1.4 –RWDCR same at 0.9 –LWDCR up from 1.7 to 2.3 No EMS rate (fewer than 15 cases) but 2.6

4 H&S Update 2005 BLS TRCIR injury rates for 2003 – by size – = 6.8 – = 3.6 – = 3.9 –> 999 = 2.2 –Overall = 4.1 Many industries and industry overall shows highest rate for size establishements.
