Cheese Sauce with Golden Biscuit Bowls
Ingredients: 4Grand biscuits 2 C.Chili ½ C.Sour Cream
Directions: 1.Make (4) 3 ½ inch balls of foil. Flatten slightly. Place on baking sheet. 2.Roll each biscuit into a 5 ½ inch circle. Place each biscuit over each foil ball, shaping gently to fit around the foil. (Dough should not touch the baking sheet. 3.Bake at 350 for minutes or until golden brown. Carefully remove bowls from foil. 4.While biscuits are baking, heat chili and make cheese sauce. Cooking Temp: 350°F Cooking Time: minutes
Ingredients for Cheese Sauce: 1 ½ t.Butter 2 t.Flour ½ C.Milk 4 oz.Velveeta cheese - cubed
Directions for Cheese Sauce: 1.Melt butter on low heat in saucepan. Do not burn!! 2.Combine flour with butter in saucepan. Stirring w/wire whisk. 3.Add milk; stir with wire whisk until thickened. 4.Add cheese; stir with wooden spoon, until cheese is melted. 5.Heat chili in saucepan, while biscuit bowls are baking. 6.Spoon ½ C. chili in bowl, add cheese sauce and sour cream (optional)
