Location 兵马俑在西安市。西安市在陕西省。 The Terracotta Army is located in the city Xī'ān. Xī'ān is located in the province Shǎnxī.

History on Terracotta Army In March, 1974, a group of farmers discovered an entire army of life-size terra cotta soldiers and horses that China’s first emperor, Qin Shi Huangdi, had sculpted so he could take his army and possessions with him to his next life after death.

Important industries include equipment manufacturing, tourism, and service outsourcing. Xi'an is also the only city in China to win the Golden Bear (Berlin Film Festival) twice.

Local Attractions The Terra-cotta Warriors and Horse of Xi'an are the greatest archeological finds of the last century. There are other attractions in Xian including Xian City Wall, Forest of Stone Steles Museum, the Great Mosque, Big Goose Pagoda, Huaqing Hot Springs, Famen Temple, Qianling Tomb, and Mount Huashan.

Terracotta Army The Terracotta Army takes us inside China’s past to witness the culture and mindset of the first emperor and many others. Not only is the Terracotta Army an amazing find in archeology it is also an extremely interesting attraction. It shows how the emperor wanted to take his army with him so much he had each soldier individually sculpted along with other possessions.
