Promoting Fire Safety in the Workplace Fire safety is taking care of or reducing the risk of fire that may result in death, injury or property damage caused by fire.

Fire Safety Stages To be efficient in providing fire safety follow these steps:  Fire Hazardous knowledge and regular evaluations  Emergency evacuation plans and procedures  Regular Employees training  Technology use

Plan and Preparing Stage To achieve fire safety at workplace there must be a planning and preparing stage

Employees Training Train all the employees to deal with any emergency situation. Training should include: Fire warden training Fire extinguisher training Fire awareness training

Fire Emergency Procedures Fire emergency procedure posters need to be clearly displayed on walls visible to everyone. During emergency situations, procedures should be strictly followed.

Fire Safety Technology Technology helps to indicate early warnings for fire:  Fire smoke alarm sensors/detectors  Fire extinguishers  Water system to put out fire  Exit door unlocking system in case of fire  Cameras to locate fire location victims
