Terminology EDDIE/InfoView—Provides access to reports in personal and corporate folders/categories Web Intelligence Rich Client—Desktop tool to create reports Desktop Intelligence—Desktop tool to create reports Report Conversion Tool- Desktop tool to convert Desktop Intelligence reports to Web Intelligence report 3

Terminology Standard Reports: Pre-developed reports in EDDIE/InfoView or ViewDirect (VDR). These reports have a functional owner. The reports are centrally developed/supported and will be converted by AITS/Decision Support. No need to convert your personal copy. Ad-hoc Reports: User created reports. These reports are locally developed/supported. These reports will need to be converted by the owner of the report. 4

What is changing in BO XI4.1? Desktop Intelligence is not available in BO XI4.1 We are transitioning to Web Intelligence as the reporting tool. Prior to the upgrade to BO XI4.1 all Deski reports will need to be converted to Webi reports in BO XI3.1. 7

How am I going to be impacted? If you have reports that you use and you created them in Deski, those reports will need to be converted to Webi. 8

Converting from Deski to Webi Web Intelligence Rich Client is available now in BO XI3.1 If you currently have access to Deski, you already have access to Webi All user created Deski reports will need to be converted to Webi reports in BO XI3.1 9
