Overview Farmer Brown needs your help. He has no one to take care of his pigs. He is really busy with all of the other animals. He has hired you to take care of the pigs.

To be able to take care of the pigs you need to find out all that you can about them. You will need to know what they eat, what their babies are called, where they live and what things that they like to do. Introduction

Process You will need a parent or a teacher to help you with these activities. First you will need to search the web to find out all the pig facts that you can. Then you can play some pig games on the web. After you know all that you can about pigs, you will make a book with all the facts that you know.

Click on the pig to visit a pig farm and learn how to take care of Farmer Brown’s pigs.

Click on the pig to learn more fun facts about pigs.

Click on the pigs to learn about the parts of a pig.

Click on the pigs to learn some things that they like to eat and to hear pig sounds.

Click on the puzzle to do a pig jigsaw puzzle.

Click on the pig to play some fun pig games.

Take some time to think about what you have learned about pigs. What do you know about pigs? What is life like for a pig? Think Time

Task Use pencils, crayons, markers, and paper to create a book about pigs. You will need to include a cover page with the title and your name. In the book you will need to include facts about pigs and how you will take care of Farmer Brown’s pigs. Also you will need to draw pictures of pigs in your book.

Conclusion Great Job! I hoped that you have learned a lot about pigs and how to care for them. For another activity you could write a story about a pig in your journal. I hope that you continue to learn about other farm animals as well.
