Dress Importance in the Workplace First impressions do matter!.... And are lasting. Dress sends a message about who you are. Dress could have a big impact on your success in the workplace. Dress effects your credibility as a person and professional. Dressing professionally could get you a promotion.

Dress for company culture Dress to reflect your job. Follow company’s dress code policy. If there’s no dress code, gauge what's acceptable. Dress appropriately for your company and your client. Dress practically for job activities. Dress to reflect your capabilities. Dress to make positive impression Dress to be taken seriously. Dress to reflect your professional attitude. It’s important to appear like you fit in.

Important Elements for Workplace Dress Organize your closest space to have a section of work appropriate attire. Shop for quality clothing. Shop for expensive clothing within your budget. Ladies spend more on: shoes, purses and belts. Men focus on having enough dress shirts with a blazer. Be fashionable. Dress like your superiors, not your peers. Make sure clothing is clean and crisp. Make yourself noticeable with your dress, in a good way. Show your individuality and originality.
