Most religions believe after you die: Your spirit leaves the physical world to go to heaven or hell. You will reincarnate and come back to life as something different later. Or that nothing happens and you just die. RELIGION

Death has inspired many artists and musicians to fit into their music, paintings, and sculptures. DEATH AND ARTS

Most scientists now a days are trying to find a way to cure certain diseases that can cause death and find a way to make people live a tad bit longer. People who are dying are kept alive, sometimes against their will or the will of their family, with powerful medications, and machines. SCIENCE

Death is political, as the controversies surrounding Jack Kevorkianan Terri Schiavo have shown. While death is a natural event, modern end-of-life experiences are shaped by new medical, demographic, and cultural trends. DEATH IN GENERAL

The way they choose to look at is; that everyone dies at some point but everyone dies differently. Every culture, religion, civilization, looks, deals, mourns, and treats death in a different way. DEATH IN THE EYES OF AN ANTHROPOLOGIST

Was a Social Anthropologist Considered one of the founding fathers of modern anthropology Is the author of the book The Golden Bough SIR J.G. FRAZER

Before people purposely began to write down daily events, and historical data they left more evidence about their lives and deaths. The oldest dead body found to date is about 10,000 years old which is 3,000 years older than the first piece of writing discovered. DEATH IN FRAZER’S EYES

This is where anthropologists try to begin to piece together the beliefs of people then, because what was believed then is still used and believed by cultures, religions and individuals today. And that leads Frazer to believe that that no matter how modern the world may be today, it can’t escape its roots and beliefs that it had thousands of years ago. ANTHROPOLOGISTS BELIEFS

A person that you knew who has passed away can still have some sort of influence on you, good or bad. Some anthropologists believe that the human body is made up of two different elements; a body and a spirit. LAW OF CONTAGION (FRAZER)
