Planes BY ELI

How planes were invented  In 1903 the wright brothers invented the first ever plane that flew in the world.  People had flown before but they made the first powered aircraft.  The wright brothers plane worked because of the light weight aluminium.it is still used in planes today. This is the engine that they used

SOME PLANES AVAILABLE TODAY  Differences between old and new planes  New planes are much faster to get to different places because they have better engines. Because technology is better.  Planes are now used for heavier freight than in the olden days.  They are also used for much more passengers for instance the a380 can hold about 613 people at once when not even full.  Planes are very safe these days, much more safe than in the olden days. To fly a plane in modern times they have safety standards and pilots have to pass lots of tests.

747  The electricity used to fly the 747 can light up inch flat screen TVs  The 747 is the longest passenger plane ever, it is 72 metres long  The wingspan is 59 metres  The cruising speed is 893km/h  The height is 19 metres Dreamliner/787  The Boeing 787 is the newest passenger plane  The plane’s top speed is 958km/h  the plane’s Wingspan is 60m  The Dreamliner was introduced on October

a380  The wingspan for the a380 is 72m.  The height for the a380 is 24m  There are about 630 people on the plane when full  The a380 is the only plane that has a full 2 decks  There are 4 engines on the a380 A330  The a330 can fit up to 470 people  The length of the plane is mitres  The wingspan is 60 mitres  The tail height is 156 mitres  The cabin width is 5 mitres  There are two engines on this plane  Each a330 has 3 fuselage sections that are joined together by 12,000 fasteners

My ideas why it has changed  planes these days have changed a lot  for instance you can now use phones on the plane with internet in some places  You also have TV screens that are even touch screen. They show videos on demand  The planes also go much faster than before  they also have beds in business and first.

How planes will change in the future  One thing that i know will change is that planes will be super sonic so that you can get to the place you are going faster.  There might be windows all around so that you can see every direction.  In economy class they can have actual beds so you can get some sleep.
