Presentation transcript:

I think that a good game has to include a deep story line, intensive game play that requires the greater part of the gamers attention, Fast loading times so the player does not get bored waiting to play, moderate graphics so the depth of the game can be taken in, unfinished sections of the game where parts can be added on, online capabilities and a general 3d environment.

Description: A medi-evil game which includes factions of units controllable with a mouse. Each faction consists of a country in the world, and uses the technology which the country had at the time and also perks for the country is based on the events which the civilization has caused to occur. Genre: RTS (Real Time Strategy) Audience: Mature 13+ Key Points: Good points: Creative, good graphics, fast loading times, extensive game play beyond campaign. Bad points: This game was literally one of the best RTS game’s created, the only thing that brings it down is the repetition _3.jpg

Description: An online game that includes a variance of classes and ever expanding content. Genre: Side scrolling MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) Audience: Age 14+ Key Points: Very extensive game play, constant maintenance and extending content. Good points: Many things to do (quests, training etc.), people to interact with, different options and choices can be taken with each character. Bad points: The programming can be a large pain as even though there is plenty of evidence, many bugs and glitches slip through the internet. af4e0.jpg

Description: A first person RPG game that includes hours to months of game play, fast loading and great content. It has an amazing story that is very in depth. Genre: FPS, RPG (First Person Shooter, Role Playing Game) Audience: 14+ Key Points: Is made by a company that Is always developing its games with updates patches and expansions. Good points: An extensive game which can be played in many ways, views and is different every time you play. Graphics are very detailed, close to life-like. Bad points: The leveling system made by the developers is unstable for development jpg

Description: A 3d fighting game, viewed by a shot on the side so the players can see every action they make. Genre: Fighting Audience: 10+ Key Points: Includes a varying degree of difficulty with many characters and special moves. Good points: Is popular, simulates many martial arts moves, good 2 player mode. Bad points: Its not necessarily bad, but in my opinion, I do not like it because of the complexity needed to memorise and execute the moves, and all once learned can leave a distaste from the other player just mashing buttons. Basically it requires little skill to operate. content/uploads/tekken_3_screenshot.jpg
