Introduction to EPAS Pan-European Cooperation on sport policies Since May 2007: 33 Member States: Albania, Andorra, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Monaco, Morocco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Russian Federation, San Marino, Serbia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and “the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia” +1 Observer: Turkey.

European Sport Charter & Code of Sport Ethics adopted in 1992; updated in 2001 a common set of principles for all Europe references to the social inclusion trough sport

EUROPEAN SPORTS CHARTER „ No discrimination on the grounds of sex, race, colour, language, religion, political or other opinion, national or social origin, association with a national minority, property, birth or other status, shall be permitted in the access to sports facilities or to sports activities.” MS should take necessary steps to „enable every individual to participate in sport”
