BEST SUITED: Categories is Integrator’s mechanism for allowing the User to create their own Data Fields for any Diverse requirements. Filter by Category acts upon the Data contained in these Category Lists, providing a mechanism for applying Filter criteria to the User’s own pre-defined Data Fields. Filter By Category is the only mechanism which enables Filter Criteria to be applied to such Data. DISADVANTAGES: It is not possible to Retain the Search Criteria for re-application, or the Results for recall – as such it is a tool for immediate requirements rather than a tool for setting up On Screen Reviews or Reports. ‘FILTER BY CATEGORY’

Records will be filtered to show any that match at least one of the Criteria. Match All. Records will be filtered to show any that match all of the of the Criteria (& possibly more). Match Only Specified. Records will be filtered to show only those that match the Criteria exactly. Not Be In Any. Records will be filtered to show only those that do not match any of the criteria.
