Do you know where pandas live? 1. Pandas live in China now, but they used to live in East Asia. 2. A few Pandas live in mountain ranges. 3. A few Pandas live in bamboo forests.

In Fall the mother panda gives birth to two panda bears. They are called cubs. She only take care of one cub at a time. Only one cub will survive. When it is born the cub is blind and pink. It weighs only 3 ounces.

Plants pandas eat: 1. Bamboo 2. Vines 3. Roots 4. Grass 5. Honey Long ago pandas ate meat. Now their diet has changed and they eat plants. Pandas are herbivores now.

Dholes, Asian wild dogs sometimes eat pandas. A leopard sometimes eat pandas. Not many animals hunt pandas because of their size.

This is how pandas adapt to their environment. 1. Pandas have thick oily fur to keep them warm in the winter. 2. They have sharp front teeth to help them bite pieces of bamboo stalks.

Pandas live alone because they are shy animals. So they usually stay by them selves. But when they want to talk to each other pandas have different sounds to use.

People in China are hunting pandas for their fur. Some people in China are making rules that it is a crime when you harm or kill a panda. There are also shelters for pandas where they will be safe.

Some people think there are species of pandas, and some think they belong to the bear family. Most scientists though, group them with the red panda.

The biggest panda that ever lived was almost 400 pounds. The first panda to come to America was in He was very popular at a zoo in Chicago A panda can live to be years old.
