 Equality Act – Equality Act Our Duty to make Reasonable Adjustment Anticipatory Duty – 11 % of student declare a disability  Changes to how individual support is funded (DSA).(DSA).

About 60% of students who declare a disability are in receipt of DSA. For the last twenty years Disabled Students’ Allowances has funded support for individual students with disabilities.

 General Allowances  Travel Costs  Computers  Software  Specialist Equipment  Support Workers

Changes will affect students applying for DSA for academic year 2015/16. Gov have announced "Modernisation of DSA" to rebalance responsibilities between Gov funding and HEIs.
