OPEN PRIVATE SECTOR Presentation by: Benjamin Herzberg

GOAL To accelerate and massively scale private sector uptake of governance and sustainability practices that improve both development impacts and the bottom line. ONLINE PLATFORM Gathers new breakthrough open technology, online tools and collaborative products that eliminate roadblocks for both large and small businesses, regardless of where they’re located, to be able to access the "know what”, "know why" and especially "how to" of Shared Value. This is inclusive and sustainable growth, in practice.

PARTNERSHIP The Platform relies on a strong coalition of private sector, institutional and civil society partners that provides access to a variety of open components aggregated within the Platform, as well as a number of knowledge sharing and advocacy activities. KNOWLEDGE AND LEARNING Activities and products include Shared Value lessons learned, case studies and knowledge pieces, an M&E framework and a series of how-to’s. GLOBAL REACH Achieved through global events e.g. on business ethics, Open Government, Open Aid, or Open Data as well as through e-learning and community MOOCs, leveraging existing and new communities of practice, regional and country outreach and advocacy.
