Keys Of the Kingdom Godly Character for a Godless World

Unadulterated Matthew 5:8

Unadulterated Matthew 5:8 8 “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. Psalm 24:3–6 3 Who shall ascend the hill of the L ORD ? And who shall stand in his holy place? 4 He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to what is false and does not swear deceitfully. 5 He will receive blessing from the L ORD and righteousness from the God of his salvation. 6 Such is the generation of those who seek him, who seek the face of the God of Jacob. An Unmixed Inside Purity in heart speaks to our unmixed passion and devotion to Christ. It speaks of our undivided loyalty to Him alone. Purity in heart also speaks of a holy and undefiled life that enables God to dwell with us. Purity in heart speaks of an innocence from sin and a longing for God.

Open Your Eyes Being pure and clean and uncumbered by this world’s passions allows us to see God when He is in our midst. When we seek after only Christ and nothing else in our lives, our desire for God’s presence will be answered! One day, we will see God before us in His palpable presence and we will dwell with Him for eternity!

Key of the Kingdom We must be holy and clean in our thoughts, actions, motives, and desires to see God. When we live holy lives and are pure, uncorrupted by sin and this world, we will experience God’s presence here and now. We will see God for all eternity, but being pure and innocent of sin keeps us sharp enough to see God when He is present!
