Geography Greece is mountainous Greece is a peninsula about the size of Louisiana in the Mediterranean Sea. Greece is mountainous Greek communities often times developed independently because of the mountains, thus they were diverse

Religion The religion of Ancient Greece was polytheism. They believed their gods took a human form and had a human personality. Later, the origins of Greece religion were applied to Ancient Rome. Greek mythology was not real but it was their religion. There were twelve main Olympian gods in Greece mythology.

Accomplishments Ancient Greece formed the first democracy. Started the Olympics Theater Most of our philosophy came from Greek thinkers. Our alphabet originated from Greece Architecture

Politics Democracy in Ancient Greece was very direct. What this means is that all the citizens voted on all the laws. Rather than vote for representatives, like we do, each citizen was expected to vote for every law. 

Economy The people of ancient Greece traded with other cultures (like Egypt) by traveling on the Mediterranean Sea. The ancient Greeks focused on ship building, farming, and making pottery.

Social Structure Upper Class is called Athens Middle Class is called Metics Lower Class is called Freemen Last Class are the slaves.
