Intro Ancient Greece was a terrific empire that formed our world. However the aspects I will talk about today are: GovernmentReligion Art and Architecture

 Most only know Ancient Greek for their Pottery and Sculptures  All of their art started simply because they Loved Beauty  Art was vital to them, as it supposedly kept their gods content. Art and Architecture

Evolution Their art evolved greatly, above, is a statue of Zeus, which they used to worship. Their architecture also evolved greatly, and had more details, on the left, is a temple which lasted 2000 years. There are many more as they built them for their deity. Some of their buildings might not have lasted till today, though their architecture travelled a long journey, go to places as far as Japan. It started with ordinary rocks and moved onto marble and other luxurious items.

Religion Polytheism Over 3000 gods Specific Rituals to keep them content. They used art to remember religious events.

The ‘big three’ Hades, the lord of the underworld Poseidon, the god of the sea Zeus, the god of the sky, and the king of all gods

Government

Laws The Greeks had courts, though they were at a primary stage. When the Ancient Greek wanted to remove a politician from his seat, they had an operation called an ostracism. Some criminals were punished by fighting professional hunting wolves.

The reign of the Ancient Greek ended at the battle of Corinth. The Romans won and soon took over completely. Some protested though it was too late as they left room for other nations to grow. Conclusion Battle of Corinth
