Renewable resources assignment By: Jasmine Glattfelder

Tidal Power Is a form of hydropower that converts the energy of tides into electricity or other useful forms of power. Used for waves and currents. is the only technology that draws on energy inherent in the orbital characteristics from earth and moon. can only generate when the tide is flowing in or out.

Tidal Power Government is wanting to represent a renewable, predictable resource to generate 5% of energy for the UK. There are other ways we can use the vast amount of energy hidden in the oceans. Rising water levels provides a great opportunity to generate reliable renewable energy.

Biomass Biomass is the most commonly used source of renewable energy. Mainly refers to burning or using materials. Includes varied organic matter. (wood, grass, leaves). Can reduce the price of gasoline when we use ethanol as a transportation fuel.

Biomass Ability to make your own biodiesel in your own backyard. Only release the carbon dioxide that they had originally consumed.
