Stem Dying flowers The process of changing the color of a fresh flower by placing the cut end of the stem into a dye solution, allowing time for absorption of pigment.

Stem dyed color wheels Products needed : 12 vases 12 white carnations with dry stems Stem dye/Food coloring Masking tape for labeling

Mix colors and Label vases Fill vases with 3-4 inches of water-do not fill vase Use recipes for food coloring provided to produce the right amount of color in the flower blooms. Label vases with group # and color name. Set aside and let flower heads absorb water. Check end results.
