My Motherland is Russia An e-twinning Project Cheremnykh Alexander NSTU, Aircraft Faculty, S-52

Flag of my country There are 3 colors on Russian flag: red, blue, white. The colors of the flag mean: White - peace, perfection Blue – truth, faith, constancy Red – force, push

A symbol of my country This is the eagle with two heads. His heads look to the east and to the west (Europe and Asia). This is a orthodox temple with gold domes.

Where I live? Now I live in the biggest and the most beautiful town of Siberia. It is Novosibirsk. It is a one of the best towns in the world.

How’s the climate? The climate in our country is very various, because Russia is the biggest country Total area is very big (17.1 mln. sq. km). Temperature is different. Winter can be very cold. The average temperatures are below -35ºC. Summer can be very hot. The average temperatures are above +30ºC. So, climate is very different in different places of my motherland.

Capital / population Moscow is the capital of my country. The number of population is 145 mln of people. Russians is very good, cordial, talented.

Greetings in our language Good morning = Dobroe utro or S dobrim utrom. Good afternoon = Dobri veсher Good night = Dobroj noсhi How are you? = Kak dela?

A landscape that I love There are many excellent places in Russia. I love Baikal and landscapes around it very much.

A product of my country Russia produces many products. They are mineral resources: oil, natural gas, coal; wood; weapons; wars techniques and many other things.

A recipe from my country I love pelmeni very mach. Because they are very delicious and nourishing. Recipe is very simple: meat in special dough is boiled in water 5 -7 minutes.
