tell us that Joseph and Mary went to be taxed. Now why would pregnant Mary go? Because taxation occurred at a convenient time for every- one—just prior to holy days when folks were already there for     Luke 2:1-2 tell us that Joseph and Mary went to be taxed. the Day of Atone- ment, the Feast of Trumpets, and the Feast of Taber- nacles. That’s why there was no room in the inn: Jose- phus estimated Jerusalem’s pop. doubled … from 1,000,000 to 2,000,000! Anyway    Holy Days Consideration

Going to Jerusa- lem at this time every year was the custom of Joeseph & Mary ( & ). Going to Jerusa- lem at this time every year was the custom of Joeseph & Mary (Luke 2:41 & John 7:1-10). Holy Days Consideration

tells us that Jesus was 30 years old when He began His ministry in accordance with Numbers 4:3 and the Jewish stand- ard for maturity; if He were born in winter, then He would’ve begun His ministry at the unacceptable age of 29 years. Why? Notice prophecy :  Luke 3:23 tells us that Jesus was 30 years old when He began His ministry in accordance with Numbers 4:3 and the Jewish stand- ard for maturity; if He were born in winter, then He would’ve begun His ministry at the unacceptable age of 29 years. pro- phesied that the Messiah would minister for 3.5 years: “ ” How? By the sacrifice of Himself. So   Daniel 9:27 pro- phesied that the Messiah would minister for 3.5 years: “‘Then He shall confirm a covenant with many for one week; but in the middle of the week, He shall bring an end to sacrifice.’” How? By the sacrifice of Himself. So   Age & Prophecy Consideration

Since Jesus’ minis- try lasted 3.5 yrs., and since He died at Passover ( Easter to us ), the first of spring, then Jesus must have entered His priesthood after His baptism in the fall; His birth, therefore, must have been at the end of summer or first of fall, not first of winter! Age & Prophecy Consideration

teaches that the work of the priesthood was divided into 24 courses or weeks, from Sat. to Sat., & lists all these courses. Each course served twice a year equaling 48 of them. (All served together the extra weeks for major festivals.) 1 Chr. 24 teaches that the work of the priesthood was divided into 24 courses or weeks, from Sat. to Sat., & 24:7-19 lists all these courses. Mat. 2:2, 7, 9-10 tell us about a new star that appeared. History attests to the fact of new stars appearing from time to time. This star settled over Bethlehem, ironically in the womb of the virgin. No, not Mary, but the ERUA constellation. New Star Consideration

ERUA means “she who brings forth seed (prophesied in) Eden” or “she who brings forth male seed.” The Jews, long before Jesus, called ERUA ha-alma, meaning “the virgin.” Let’s read and notice how the heavenly ha-alma signaled Jesus’ birth in the earthly ha-alma—Mary. ERUA means “she who brings forth seed (prophesied in) Eden” or “she who brings forth male seed.” The Jews, long before Jesus, called ERUA ha-alma, meaning “the virgin.” Let’s read Isa. 7:11-14 and notice how the heavenly ha-alma signaled Jesus’ birth in the earthly ha-alma—Mary. New Star Consideration

It could only be a sign in this way; nothing else makes sense, for only Mary and Joseph knew she was a virgin. Why bring up this star? Because, ac- cording to scientific technology, this star was directly above Bethlehem on Sunday, August 30th, 2 BC—the Jews’ New Year’s Day! Besides…   New Star Consideration

It’s well document- ed (by Josephus and others) that Herod died January 9th, 1 BC—the day of a lunar eclipse, meaning that Jesus had to have been around long enough to be born, go to Egypt, then come back to Judea, all which definitely couldn’t have oc- curred if He had been born Dec. 25th. New Star Consideration
