Presentation transcript:

This tutorial will help you find the full text of an article when the Find It button takes you to the Electronic Journals Service (EJS).

In EBSCO*, click on the Find It button to see if the full text of an article is available. This link only appears when the full text is not available in the database you are currently searching. *The instructions after this slide are also true for articles in ProQuest that have a Find It link to EJS.

A new page will open and if the Electronic Journals Service(EJS) has the full text, there will be a link at the top of the page.

In EJS, you will see the page for the journal that published your article. Click on the linked date range under the heading “Your Access.”

Referring back to the article’s information (on the page where you clicked the “Find It” button), find the year, volume, and/or issue number that article appeared in the journal. Select that from the drop down box or the list of issues by year that appears on the journal page.

Scroll down the list of articles from that issue of the journal until you find your article. Click on the “Article PDF” link to get the full text.
