SAC Accreditation Mark An accredited CAB may use SAC endorsement on reports/certificates that deal solely with activities covered under the terms of accreditation. A company which has been certified by an accredited CB will be issued a certificate which will bear both the SAC and the respective CB’s marks. Not all CABs are SAC accredited and accreditation may only be for specific services rendered by the CABs. Accreditation Programme for Learning Service Providers Certification Suspension of Certification LSPs under suspension have to stop any new registration for all courses However, they are allowed to run to complete those already commenced Minimum suspension period is 3 months Withdrawal of Certification LSPs to cease registration for all new courses with immediate effect with the exception of ongoing classes to continue till end of course to channel all the registered participants to other certified LSPs and to refund the course fee (if payment has been made) LSPs are obliged to remain with the CB who had suspended or cancelled its ISO 29990 certification for a minimum period of one year. Accreditation Programme for Learning Service Providers Certification Training on ISO 29990 and MOM Technical Notes 2 training courses were conducted - 3 & 4 July and 22 & 23 September 2014 SAC organised the training Mr Steven Ong (WG member) conducted the training and Mr Raymond Wong (WSHC) presented on the MOM Technical notes 1st training was attended by 36 participants 2nd training was attended by 23 participants Subsequent training is left to market forces – some CBs are running the course Training on MOM Technical Notes also held on 29 September 2014 The SAC Programme is managed by SPRING Singapore
