VOWEL SOUNDS What Are Vowels? Vowels include 5 of the 26 alphabet letters. These letters are A,E,I,O,and U. The letter Y is sometimes included, because it can make similar sounds to other vowels. Click the link below to hear the sounds the different vowels make.
