General Information Austrian website – made by  the centre of democracy in Vienna  the University of Salzburg made together with teenagers innovative access for everybody: Internet Our school is a certificated „Polipedia“- school… (only 10 in Austria)

General Information  Main Parts: 1. the online Wiki: democracy; policy made by and for pupils; often used! 2. multimedia components: use of pictures and videos

General Information  Discussion: possibility to get in contact with each other;  talk about different kinds of political problems and questions  Participation is a main point :  everybody has the right, to give his opinion.

Applicability  Polipedia can be used in many different situations: 1. in schools, for projects, in lessons 2. individual work in groups 3. as a great help for pupils and interested ones 4. as an online-encyclopedia

Our experience with Polipedia  In November 2012 our school designed some articles for the website:  We discussed current issues and made some movies about our problems; 1. migration in Austria 2. homosexual phobia and homosexuality 3. blocking a main road for young inhabitants
