Current RDA WBB activities to create workforce demand…. Identify the number of existing resource sector workers living in the Wide Bay Burnett and working outside the region. Identify the number of job seekers interested in working in the resource sector and understand their capacity.

Conduct a Economic Impact study to understand the potential impacts growth in the resource sector will have on our economy Conduct a Social Impact study to understand the potential impacts growth in the resource will have on our community. Other Current RDA WBB activities…. Lobby both State and Commonwealth Government for the WBB to be recognised as a priority region for the appointment of a Fly-In Fly-Out Coordinator Conduct a Resource Sector Indigenous Jobs Forum
