All students in 4 th through 8 th grade are encouraged to start an instrument. No prior music experience is required.
All schools will have two 40 minute lessons a week. Group lessons schedules are printed on the band flyer sent home with students. Please ask for another copy if you need one. Students are required to attend all class periods, unless absent from school, taking a test for class, or previously discussed with the director.
If the instructor has to cancel, a make up lesson may be scheduled. Combined rehearsals can be considered extra and count for a make-up lesson. Other make-up lessons will be announced in advance and information will be sent home in your child’s band folder.

Folding Music Stand Book- Essential Elements 2000 Percussion students are required to purchase an additional drum method book. Instrument with required supplies.
Practice Schedule Weekly Goal established by teacher Written on the back of folder 90 minutes of practicing a week Students should write down their practice minutes and have parents initial at end of each week
