Soda is not good for you and could cause many health problems. I will explain to you why any kind of soda could harm you. I know what you all may be thinking:  people should know how to monitor their soda drinking  who cares,let people drink whatever they want  The problem isn't the soda it’s us 1:40

 It’s tasty  It’s everywhere  It’s convenient  Promotion/ advertising  Soda habit  It’s cheap  Caffeine addiction  Quenches thirst

 Soda is useless: the average American consumes 57 gallons of soda each year  Weight gain: hello obesity!!! Soft drinks are related to weight gain (emedexpert.com)

 Diabetes: anything that promotes weight gain increases the risk of diabetes  Dental caries and erosion: soda eats up and dissolves the tooth enamel

 Weakened bones: in 1950 children drank 3 cups of milk for every 1 cup of soda, today the ratio is 3 cups of soda for every cup of milk.  Kidney damage: (Kidney stones ouch)

 Are carbonated beverages  Sweetened with artificial sweeteners like aspartame  The association between diet soda and diabetes is very strong especially in women  Metabolic syndrome that leads to serious diseases (authoritynutrition.com)

 Water  Tea  100% real juice  Juice with sparkling water  Iced tea  Soda tax  Teach kids/ students from an early age why soda is unhealthy
