The Museo Nacional del Prado is located in Madrid, the capital of Spain. It is placed in a very touristic, centric and social place so everyone can find it easily. LOCATION

 The building was designed in 1785 by the architect Juan de Villanueva during the reign of Charles III BUILDING

-The Museo del Prado is the main Spanish national art museum. -It features one of the world's finest collections of European art. -Is one of the most visited sites in the world, and is considered one the greatest museums of art in the world DESCRIPTION

 One of my favorite artwork is “Carlos V en la Batalla de Mühlberg “, painted by the artist Tiziano, Vecellio di Gregorio.  It is a memorial of the Victory in Miihlberg of the imperial troops on Protestants. PAINTING

One of my favorite sculptures is “El Espinario” made by a anonym artist. In El Museo del Prado they have a copy of the famous bronze Hellenistic. The sculpture represents a naked boy, pulling a thorn from his foot. Characteristics follow the Roman model. SCULPTURE
