The rainfall here is irregular and short and happens usually between the months of December to march. The record high temperature was 113 degrees Fahrenheit. Rainfall has been increasing in the past few decades. Their average rainfall per year is 3.71 inches. Winters are warm and short and are like our springs. Summers here are very hot and humid.

Dubai’s Hydrosphere Dubai gets its water from desalination of the seawater from the Persian Gulf which is the coast of Dubai. They have 8 plants that desalinate the water and convert it into safe drinking water. Here, there are only 2 fresh water aquifers as another fresh water source. Because of Dubai's artificial islands the waters have become murky and filled with silt. They also damage the marine ecology in the area. Having the artificial island in the area causes the sea level to rise.
