Now the Digital Broadcast Television and WLAN technology can not meet the requirements of High- Bandwidth services during the High-Speed movement Restricting The development of Rail Transit Informatization TD-LTE technology with High-Bandwidth, High Mobility, Seamless Handover performance. It is one of the most mature and advanced communication technology, which will meet the wireless communication requirements of the Rail Transit.

Uplink and downlink resources 1: 1, the downlink peak is 20Mpbs and the uplink peak reach to 8Mbps. Also the uplink and downlink rate are adjustable. In the actual project, using 20MHz bandwidth, downlink peak is 15Mbps and uplink peak is 2Mbps. Mobility With Anti-Frequency Shift algorithm, supports over 300Km/H movement, fully meet the speed requirements of Urban Rail Transit. WLAN as a fixed wireless access technology, mainly used in slow movements. No Anti-Frequency Shift algorithm. Band Flexibility Supports 1.4/3/5/10/15/20MHz network according to the requirements Limited to 20MHz Bandwidth of 2.4G Costs Of Construction And Maintenance Can use the Leaky Coaxial Cable The output power of AP is so low that we need to place an AP each 200 meters, so it is not suitable for Leaky Coaxial Cable, also the construction is difficult and maintenance costs will be high.
