Journal #3: Superhero and Villain Yesterday, you read about the hero’s journey. Tomorrow, you will begin reading about the Anglo-Saxon hero Beowulf, the protagonist, and his antagonist Grendel. Create your own modern day Superhero and Villain. Remember, a superhero is to embody a society/culture, so your hero should reflect what is important in today’s world. What is his/her superpower? What is his/her superpower? What virtues does he/she embody? What virtues does he/she embody? What is his/her weakness? Example: Superman’s is kryptonite. What is his/her weakness?
