My super hero is an American super heroine. She is the one of the first and most famous superheroes to be female. She came out in 1941 in a comic book and was created by William Moulton Marston. Then she became a television series in the 70’s. It made the character very famous.

She has dark hair and blue eyes. She wears a costume: red boots, blue shorts, and a red tee-shirt. Her tiara is an unbreakable boomerang. She owns a magic lasso : the Lasso of Truth and indestructible bracelets. Her logo is 2 Ws.

In the comic book, Wonder Woman's real name is Princess Diana and she is the daughter of Queen Hippolyta, Queen of the Amazons (a race of female warriors from Greek mythology). She is found by Steve Trevor, a US Air Force pilot, and taken to the United States, where she becomes the superhero Wonder Woman and nurse Diana Prince. She fights Nazism and American villains. Her adventures take place in the 40’s. She has superhuman strength, speed and reflexes. She can run very fast, she can fly, she can jump high. She pilots an "invisible plane”. In the TV series, her role was played by Linda Carter.
