Yr 9 Paris Trip Parents presentation

Introduction Your daughter has been carefully selected to attend the annual Yr 9 Trip to Paris. Your daughter has been studying French for the past 3 years which she has evidently excelled in this subject and now we are willing to reward her with a trip to the ‘City of Love’. They will be travelling to Paris by coach, then they will visit 4 popular tourist attractions and they will be staying in a budget hotel.

Hotel The children will be staying at the hotelF1 Gennevilliers Asnières hotel. This is a convenient coach ride away from many of the tourist attractions and the hotel is also very inexpensive. The hotel has WiFi, free car parking and air conditioning. There will be a maximum of three students in a room.

Attractions The students will be visiting 4 popular tourist attractions, these are: Eiffel Tower Eiffel Tower – Famous iron lattice tower located on the Champ de Mars in Paris Musée du Louvre - is one of the world's largest museums, and a historic monument. Chateau Versailles - royal château in Versailles in the Île-de-France region of France Disneyland Paris – An amusement park which is famous for its magical rides.

Restaurant The girls will be eating in a classic French restaurant called Chartier it’s a restaurant which has variety of food to offer and the menu has already been chosen by the chef. We think the girls will enjoy all the cuisine and will be encouraged to try new delicacy's.

Dates and Times We will leave on the 8 th of July 8am promptly, where we will travel for most of the day on the coach and we will depart on the 12 th July at 10am to be at the school for 6pm. We wish you to be prompt when dropping your daughter off and picking her up from the school. Please make sure she has her passport and EU Health card before she gets on the coach.

Summary of Cost The total price for each student is £ this is the total price for accommodation, food, coach costs and attractions. We believe this is a fair price to ask for and you will be able to pay the total cost in 4 instalments in the next 4months. As you can see in this pie chart, the most of the cost is for the coach taking 47% of the trip money.

Thank You for listening to this presentation and we hope your daughter will have a great time in Paris!
