Key Summary Points: Katniss has just volunteered herself, in place of her sister, for the 74 th annual Hunger Games. While in the Games, she has to duke it out with 23 other tributes until there is a final victor. This book follows her journey along with her fellow tribute, Peeta, in the quest of making it back to their families.
