PEOPLE FOR THE ETHICAL TREATMENT OF ANIMALS

Mission Focuses on the four main areas in which the largest numbers of animals suffer: – Factory farms – Clothing trade – Laboratories – Entertainment Industry They also work on other issues, including the cruel killing of beavers, birds, and other “pests” and cruelty to domesticated animals.

Mission They also work through public education, cruelty investigations, research, animal rescue, legislation, special events, celebrity involvement, and protest campaigns.

Success Send undercover investigators into slaughterhouses and laboratories to document abuse. Pass out information on the street corners of photos of animal abuse. Work with celebrities of high-profile campaigns. Offer free and low-cost spay-and-neuter services to families in need.
