Festival of colors

 Holi is a Indian festival  Holi is also celebrated in other countries.  Holi is known as “The festival of colors”. It is a festival that is celebrated for the arrival of spring.

The story behind Holi is about a god called Krishna and a goddess called Radha. They were a young couple, Krishna, who had a rather dark skin, was jealous of his beloved Radha’s extremely fair skin. In a cheeky mood, he put colour on Radha’s face. Krishna and Radha

People celebrate Holi because it is the time to forget the differences of cast, colour, race and gender.

Holi starts a day before the full moon. Children lit up bonfires then they start singing and dancing around it. The main event of Holi is the festival of colors. On this day, children, friends and neighbors come out on the streets, to throw color at anyone you see.
