STARTING A CAREER ENG 302 – Project 4 Mary Cozzi, Jade Hansen & Fanjin Meng

BACKGROUND RESEARCH- JADE HANSEN Business Entrepreneurship: To be an entrepreneur, schooling is not necessary but it would better the chances of success. Entrepreneurs also have to be able to handle and control any and all situations that they or their business might face. The internship I am working with now will help me better understand running a business, before I get out there in the world on my own. Young Entrepreneurs Across America has given me the chance to run my own business without any financial obligations and with the help of previous interns. For my major, internships are not a requirement but do give you an upper-hand and better understanding. It might also help later in life when applying for things like bank loans. As an entrepreneur you can and will use your business and personal connections all the time. The wonderful thing about entrepreneurship, is the freedom of choosing what to do and when to do. BACKGROUND RESEARCH- MARY COZZI Business Law: In order to become an attorney, schooling is absolutely necessary. There are only two things that matter in order to be considered for enrollment into law school and they are LSAT scores and GPA. Work experience and internships are important as well, but if you are considering law school than your main focus should be doing well in undergrad. Although I am currently an intern at a law firm, I feel like I can maintain the balance between both school and work. I am part of two organizations on campus, the Business Law club and the co-ed business fraternity, Delta Sigma Pi. I find these two organizations to be very beneficial and they really add to your resume when applying to law schools. Business Law: In order to become an attorney, schooling is absolutely necessary.
