What is the Personal Mission Statement? The personal mission statement is just that – a clear representation of the student’s aspirations in career, education and personal life. This statement should go through several drafts. The challenge is getting a lot of ideas into one or two sentences while remaining succinct.

Sample 1: Personal Mission Statement My mission is to succeed as an elementary school teacher with a bachelor’s degree. Also to take an active role in my community, get married and raise a happy and healthy family.

Sample 2: Personal Mission Statement My mission in life is to better society by developing new technologies. In order to do this, I plan to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree with a double major in Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering. I plan someday to raise a healthy family, keep in touch with high school friends, and be an active member in the community, church, and in schools.

Sample 3: Personal Mission Statement My ultimate goal in life is to be remembered for my artistic talents and revolutionize the way people look at life. My contributions will affect people in the community, social and economic life. From this my children will benefit from my work.
