What it Means to be a Christian! You are a new creation “Born again” John 3:3,5 You are a child of God You belong to God You live by faith

Blessings of being a Christian Innumerable, both physical and spiritual - Ephesians 1:3

Blessings of being a Christian Peace with God Romans 5:1 Isaiah 53:5 Philippians 4:7, it passes understanding Eph. 2:14-15, extended to one another

Responsibilities of a Christian! Keep yourself pure 2 Cor. 7:1, Cleanse ourselves, perfecting holiness 1 Tim. 5:22, Keep yourself pure 1 Peter 1:13-16, “Be holy for I am holy”

Responsibilities of a Christian! Remain faithful 2 Peter 1:5-9, make your call and election sure Matt. 10:22, 24:13, he who endures to the end (Lk. 9:62) Revelation 2:10, “Be faithful until death..” Take steps – attendance, prayer, study, associations, etc.

Responsibilities of a Christian! Keep growing 2 Peter 3:18, grow in the grace and knowledge… 2 Corinthians 4:16, renewed day by day Romans 12:2, Renewing of your mind
