WHERE DO I BEGIN? 1.Pick colleges to visit 2.Pick dates (Weekday vs Weekend) 3.Decide who is going on the visit 4.Research the school & surroundings

EXPLORE THE CAMPUS  Take a campus tour.  Talk to current students about life on campus and the college.  Check out the freshmen dorms  Visit the dining hall, fitness center, library, career center, student support services, bookstore, etc.  Walk or drive around the community surrounding the campus.  Check out off-campus food & entertainment options

MAKE THE MOST OF YOUR EXPLORATION  Take part in a group information session at the admission office.  Interview an admission officer.  Pick up financial aid forms.  Sit in on a class that interests you.  Meet a professor who teaches a subject that interests you.  Talk to students about what they think of their classes & professors.  Network! Be sure to get the names of the people you meet & their contact info
