Introduction Transforming School Experience in India

Project Overview Poorna Kaksha aims at creating a positive learning environment by providing solutions for better school infrastructure in rural and urban schools with poor or negligible infrastructure through creative thinking & system design approach.

Education Infrastructure Teachers Teacher’s guide & Training Non-consumable Material (curriculum, textbooks, equipments) Consumable Material (chalk, paper, exercise books) School Infrastructure (not prioritized/ checklist approach) All infrastructure needs have generally been addressed at measurable & tangible level No focus on intangible level of learning : Motivational, comfort, creative, cultural, maintenance, up-gradation. A checklist approach to deliverables: Land, building, contractor, teachers, textbooks, toilets. Education Quantity = Quality Infrastructure No direct correlation School Infrastructure Ground infrastructure - Building, boundary walls, Layout, Toilets, drinking water, classrooms, staff rooms, Kitchen room. Service infrastructure - Lighting, Fans, Computers, Access to web (ICT), electrical equipments, radios, water supply. Learning infrastructure - Class furniture, storage, blackboards, Staff furniture, Labs, Sports facilities, learning aids/ tools/ equipments. School infrastructure Teachers Students Learning/ education Enrollment/ dropouts Directly linked to Why Poorna Kaksha Class Infrastructure Desk & Seat Blackboard Storage System design approach

Why Poorna Kaksha Does not fall under any particular scheme/ prioritization is missing. Under the shadow of other educational schemes. Design as an innovation tool can address the problems. School Infrastructure Why School Infrastructure ?

What is the approach Poorna Kaksha begins by addressing the lowest denominator of school infrastructure as a design solution. Desk & Seat unit design that can form a system design Education infrastructure : Educational product tools, Creative thinking tools, Learning aides, Equipments, Technology aides. Poorna Kaksha Poorna Paatshala Poorna Shiksha Vision : Organization growth School infrastructure : School Design services, Storage system, Display system, ICT, Sports facilities, Layout, Break & play spaces. Class infrastructure : Blackboard, Class Storage, Tables. Desk & Seat: 3 design solutions

We are looking for investors who believe in the solution and can invest to implement in allocated/ chosen schools. The first stage of investment will be for school prototype. The cost includes: Research. Design solution. Bench prototype. School prototype – no. of schools X no. of benches in each school. Installation cost and documentation. Travel and stay costs. Possible Investors: Corporate companies. Medium/ Large scale companies in rural regions. Individuals/ org. that have adopted villages/ towns. Social impact investors. Social sector org./ education sector org. (non-profit). Non – profit foundations/ international social investors. Government deptt./ bodies at local/ state/ national level. Who are the investors?

Way Forward If our project interests you then we look forward presenting you the Investor Pitch 1.0 The pitch elaborates : Challenges, context, scenario. Design solutions, The USP Process, project & operation details Funding model Investors finalizing their interest to fund our project will be presented with Investor Pitch 2.0 The pitch elaborates: Design solutions Prototype Costing Finalization
