Review Definition & Objectives To review high-level functional requirements and business processes to be included within a Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 implementation including any integration requirements that may be required with other systems. Primary Objective: To document all high-level functional requirements, business process requirements and integration requirements of the potential Dynamics CRM 2011 implementation.
Business Benefits The Requirements and Process review provides the following business benefits: Review and listing of the high-level functional requirements, business processes and integrations requirements. Early identification of the high-level scope of the project helping to prevent costly rework in later phases. A level of confidence to project governance of the correct product being selected.
Considerations for Process Industries or Regulated Companies: Formula and recipe management is built on top of standard Microsoft Dynamics AX production with extensions that allow for multiple outputs from production. Disassembly and deconstruction operations can be modeled, processed and costed. Scoping of Process Industry solution enhancements in the Inventory batch and serialization: Catch Weight Shelf Life and FEFO reservation logic Quality Control definition Gathering of test results for classifying attributes of inventory batches while tracking lot disposition
Considerations for Process Industries or Regulated Companies (continued): Usage of Electronic Signature functionality and business-process impact as well as security framework. Hazardous-material management, reporting and material safety data-sheet storage. Master Planning by multiple outputs of the same formula.
