Purpose of Solar Development Address the Energy needs of Navajo Nation Customers NTUA seeks to maintain lower rates Will diversify NTUA’s energy supply and create energy independence Will provide renewable/clean energy resources to Navajo residents Promote the development of new employment opportunities Several hundred construction jobs will be available 5 or more permanent utility jobs to be created
