AFAP – Arthritis Foundation Aquatic Program) With the guidance of a certified Arthritis Foundation Instructor, you will perform gentle activities in warm water which allows exercise without excess strain on your joints and muscles. AFEP – Arthritis Foundation Exercise Program) People with Arthritis can Exercise using gentle activities to help increase joint flexibility and range of motion. With the guidance of a certified Arthritis Foundation Instructor, you will learn exercises to maintain muscle strength and increase flexibility. AQUA CARDIO BLAST – This offers the benefits of anaerobic and aerobic intervals for a fat-burning, total body workout in a non-impact setting. BARRE CONDITIONING - This is a total body conditioning class that will sculpt a long, lean, ballet body (and booty!) Exercises will include light calisthenics to get your heart pumping as well as traditional ballet choreography. BOSU CARDIO CIRCUIT – Achieve a balanced workout (pun intended) using the BOSU Balance Trainer to perform a variety of cardio drills in a circuit style class format. BOSU COMPLETE CORE – Use the BOSU Balance Trainer to challenge your entire midsection as you work to stabilize and strengthen your core muscles. CARDIO KICKBOXING – Jab! Cut! Hook! Kick! This class combines aerobic and anaerobic boxing drills designed in a cardio-choreographed fashion. Short, quick movements with high repetition challenge your heart rate while toning muscles. Sweat it out in this class! CYCLE STRENGTH FUSION – The cardiovascular benefits of indoor cycling meet the muscular strength and endurance benefits of functional weight training. This is a circuit style class. Please do not wear cycling shoes for this class. F.I.T. CAMP – FIT = Functional Interval Training. This multiple intensity class uses athletic movements designed to take you to a new level of fitness. Cross train between jump rope, boxing drills, cardio step circuits, sit-ups, push- ups, weight training movements and so much more. GENTLE AQUA – This is a lower intensity, low impact water class designed to train the body for functional movement on land. Low intensity aerobic activities combined with toning make for a total body experience. Instructor may use water noodles. H2O BOX – This is a non-impact, yet intense, take on traditional cardio kickboxing. Punch sequences are performed above and below water level to create varied resistance, and kicks focus on leg strength while pushing against the natural resistance created by water. Instructor may choose to use water weights. H2O CIRCUITS– Water aerobics offers a total body workout in a non-impact setting. We will combine cardiovascular, strength and flexibility exercises to provide you with a complete workout. Whether you are rehabilitating from an injury or simply looking for something new to try, come experience H2O! HATHA YOGA - Hatha is one of the most commonly practiced forms of Yoga where the breath guides each posture. Smooth movements help participants achieve better posture, flexibility, balance, and strength while meditation helps to improve focus. KIDS BOOT CAMP – Exercises designed with kids in mind! This class will teach the basics of cardiovascular, strength and flexibility training through short bouts of interval and circuit style activities. KIDS YOGA – Children will learn the basics of yoga in this half hour session. This class also helps teach focus, patience and mindfulness. MOMMY & ME STROLLER CAMP – This is Boot Camp for moms with young ones in tow! Class meets on the track and combines walking/jogging drills with strength activities that utilize your stroller (and your child!) to challenge your body from head to toe. PILATES MAT – Think “long lean body”. This class focuses on strength and flexibility of the major muscle groups and is based on the traditional studies of Joseph Pilates. Instructor may use additional equipment such as stability balls or resistance bands to enhance movements. PILOXING - A challenging class that uniquely fuses Pilates, dance and basic boxing moves into a calorie burning and muscle sculpting workout guaranteed to whip you into shape! POUND™ – This is a full-body cardio jam session, combining easy to follow (and not complex or embarrassing) cardio moves, Pilates, isometric movements, plyometrics and Isometric poses along with a simulated drumming experience. Strengthen and sculpt infrequently used muscles, and drum your way to a leaner, slimmer physique – all while rocking out to popular music with edgy beats! POWER FLOW YOGA - is an intense, detoxifying, empowering and completely engaging practice. It is a challenging, flowing, strength and stamina focused class that provides a powerful workout. This class will help you attain a stronger, more toned yoga body, and a calmer, more focused mind. PRENATAL YOGA – a mind/body practice modified to meet the physical challenges commonly associated with pregnancy. Certain classes may also be open for spouses/partners to attend, as a way to stay connected through this mindful session. RESTORATIVE YOGA – This style of yoga might best be described as a supported, conscious body/mind relaxation practice to relieve fatigue and stress, promote well-being and bring healing balance to your life. STRONG & STEADY - This class will help increase strength, mobility, coordination and balance, incorporating breathing and relaxation, core exercises, resistance exercises using body weight and equipment. Exercises are performed standing, sitting and/or on the floor. Modifications are made for mobility-impaired individuals. TOTAL STRENGTH – This total body class focuses on achieving muscular strength through simply choreographed exercises targeting all muscle groups. This is a perfect class for someone looking to build strength but who may be intimidated by machines in the fitness center. Think of this as a group training session – with great music and a lot of personality! TABATA CYCLE – Tabata protocol calls for short bouts of high intensity effort followed by a short recovery period. This class combines land-based Tabata drills with interval cycling. Please do not wear cycling shoes for this class. TRX BOOT CAMP – A combination of cardio, strength and core using the TRX suspension straps. Your body weight becomes your resistance as you work against gravity to control each movement. TRX CYCLE FUSION – This class combines the basics of TRX (see above) with indoor cycling. Class is taught circuit style and will always keep your muscles guessing! Please do not wear cycling shoes for this class. ZUMBA® - High energy, captivating music and Latin inspired moves will leave you feeling great and wondering when the next class is! Zumba® is a “feel good” workout geared toward all levels. Think you’re not a dancer? No problem! We bet you’ll find the dancer within. ZUMBA FAMILY – Friday night fun for the whole family! Children must be accompanied by an adult.
