Rural Tourism and Agri-tourism Tourism generally is a constantly growing branch with strong economic potential Effects in rural economy: For rural areas it offers new jobs, creation of GDP, income in local taxes, consumption directly in the region, new infrastructure, new services, interest in cultural heritage and traditions, better look of villages and landscape, introducing new technologies, increasing of living standard for inhabitants, balancing regional disparities

Rural Tourism and Agri-tourism Assumptions for rural tourism development in Slovakia:  Primary and secondary offer of tourism at the whole area of Slovakia (different natural amenities, rich cultural and historical heritage, tourism infrastructure).  Strategic position  Disposable work power directly in regions
