3OVERVIEW EXIT TNKids Financials requires the provider vendor user to record placement changes according to DCS policy. These changes MUST be entered into the Financials application within 24 hours of the child’s placement move. DCS will access penalties if a move is not reported within policy guidelines. Several changes to the Financials application will be made on June 5, This presentation illustrates these changes.

4 The child’s current placement location is listed on the first screen to assist in identifying the appropriate child. Select the child for which a placement change is to be made by clicking on the checkmark next to the child’s name. EXIT TNKids Financials Placement Change Notification

5 An ‘Alternate Location’ field has been added so the provider can notate correctly where the child is moving from if the location currently recorded in TNKids is not accurate. EXIT TNKids Financials Placement Change Notification

6 Enter the Move Date and the Move Time. Move Time is a new data field that has been added to the change notification page. EXIT TNKids Financials Placement Change Notification

7 Select the type of change: Permanent, Temporary, Transitional/Pre-placement/Respite, or Unknown. EXIT TNKids Financials Placement Change Notification

8 Enter the Return Date if applicable. Enter the ‘To Placement/Location’ from the dropdown list. If the ‘To Placement/Location’ is not available in the list, type the ‘Other Placement/Location’ in the narrative box. EXIT TNKids Financials Placement Change Notification

9 Review the Placement Change information and click Submit if accurate. EXIT TNKids Financials Placement Change Notification

10 A confirmation page is generated and displayed. To print this confirmation, choose File Print from the menu. EXIT TNKids Financials Placement Change Notification
